Orientation is a series of activities and programs which provide you with valuable information and assistance to help you make a smooth transition to study at FIC. Students select and enrol in courses and create a timetable, obtain program information obtain a student ID card, obtain information about medical insurance, are introduced to FIC services and facilities, tour the campus and library, and meet new friends and FIC staff. Students registered for SFU on-campus accommodation are encouraged to participate in the SFU accommodation orientation.
FIC coordinates day trips around Vancouver and its surrounding areas throughout the semester. This is a great opportunity for you to see more of British Columbia, meet other students and have fun. In addition, SFU’s student association organizes various events and activities throughout the semester.
